When you walk down the streets or you go to a public place, there is always someone with an iPhone.
For students that own an iPhone, there are some unprecedented tips and tricks that you may not know about.
For those students who like to listen to music while they sleep, there is a way to have the music automatically turn off. To do this, tap on Clock > Timer > When Timer Ends. Scroll down and tap Stop Playing. Then, set a timer (say 30 min) and tap Start. Now it will turn off automatically so if you like to sleep with music you don’t have to worry about the music waking you up in the middle of the night.
This next tip is for all of the mathematicians. When you screw up what you’re typing in the calculator everyone normally just clears it all because there is no delete button. You can now delete the last digit you typed in with just a swipe of your finger.
For all of the forgetful students who leave their phones in odd places, there is a way to have a tracker on your phone. To do this, follow the instructions below:
- Settings > Wi-Fi > Off.
- Settings > Bluetooth > Off.
- Settings > Privacy > Location Services > Off.
- Settings > General > Cellular > Enable 3G > Off.
- Settings > General > Cellular > Enable LTE > Off.
- Settings > Sounds > Vibrate on Ring & Silent > Off.
- Settings > Brightness & Wallpaper > Auto-Brightness > Off.
- Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Fetch New Data > Off.
If you need an extra level of protection on your iPhone, then set an alphanumeric passcode. To do this you need to go to Settings > General > Passcode Lock. Turn off Simple Passcode and you will be prompted to enter your alphanumeric password. These are just a couple of simple iPhone hacks and tricks.
